Job Summary: We are seeking a Sr Network Engineer to design, implement, and operate highly reliable network infrastructure across both cloud and on-premises environments. This role requires strong expertise in networking, cloud architectures, and network automation. You will work as a key technical contributor within the Network Engineering team, implementing architectural designs, contributing to automation initiatives, and ensuring resilient, scalable, and secure connectivity across multiple environments. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Platform Engineering, SRE, and Security teams to deliver robust network infrastructure.Technical Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environmentsImplement and maintain routing architectures including BGP, OSPF, route policies, and peering strategiesImplement and manage hybrid networking including VPNs, Direct Connect, and inter-region routingManage and configure Cisco networking hardwareDevelop network automation using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)Implement network security controls including segmentation, firewall policies, and access managementParticipate in capacity planning, performance optimization, and traffic analysisParticipate in incident response and root cause analysis for network-related outagesManage ISP connectivity including transit providers, private circuits, and carrier relationshipsRequired Skills and Experience:7+ years of experience in network engineering rolesRelevant experience or certification (e.g. CCNP or JNCIP Data centre, Enterprise or Service provider)Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, routing policies, and network troubleshootingStrong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, routing, switching, and load balancingHands-on experience with Cisco networking platformsAbility to troubleshoot layer 2 (ARP and MAC address tables as well as LACP and MC-LAG)Ability to troubleshoot DNS problemsExperience with common network cablingKubernetes CNI (Calico, Cilium)Cloud & Hybrid NetworkingExperience with hybrid cloud networking including site-to-site VPNs and private connectivity (AWS Direct Connect, GCP Interconnect)Understanding of cloud-native networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Cloud Router)Automation & Infrastructure-as-CodeWorking knowledge of Terraform for network infrastructure provisioningExperience with configuration management tools (Ansible, or similar)Observability & OperationsExperience implementing network monitoring and alerting systemsUnderstanding of network performance metrics and loggingAbility to create and maintain runbooks and documentationSecurityExperience implementing network security controls and segmentationUnderstanding of firewall management and security policiesFamiliarity with network access control conceptsPreferred skills:EVPNExperience with IPv6 rolloutJuniper specific knowledge and experienceLinux CLICision is the global leader in consumer and media intelligence, engagement, and communication solutions.
