What You’ll Do As a Region Sales Manager
The Region Sales Manager is responsible for leading and developing a team of District Sales Representatives (DSRs) while driving sales growth through independent distributors and key retail relationships across the region.
Responsibilities Of a Region Sales Manager
Lead, coach, and develop a team of DSRs to drive performance and execution
Build strong relationships with independent distributors and key retail partners
Drive sales growth through effective territory management and distributor engagement
Partner with DSRs on distributor business planning, execution, and accountability
Ensure alignment between McKee Foods, distributors, and retail customers
Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of DSR talent
Maintain high standards of execution across all accounts and territories
Communicate priorities, initiatives, and expectations clearly across the region
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
Travel within the region to support field execution and team development.
What You’ll Need As a Region Sales Manager
5+ years of sales leadership experience in DSD, food, beverage, or grocery
Proven ability to lead teams and drive results across multiple territories. The assigned location for this position covers areas in and around the Bronx, Westchester, Queens, Brooklyn, Nassau and Suffolk, NY; job holder should live in or around the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn or Nassau County NY.
Experience working with independent distributors and retail customers
Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
Ability to analyze business performance and execute strategic plans
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-based environment
Proficiency with business tools and systems (Google Workspace or similar)
Ability to travel regularly within the region
Clear driver’s record
Advanced degree, training or military experience is highly preferred.
