The Role We're looking for a product manager to lead the strategy and execution of Tinder's user-facing notification features and platform. You'll work closely with backend, analytics, marketing, and cross-functional partners to build smarter, more personalized messaging systems that drive key business metrics and help millions of users form real connections. You'll own the end-to-end development of our transactional triggers, content personalization, send decisioning- delivered through push, email, SMS, and in-app. You'll be joining the Engagement team, which owns all user-facing notifications at Tinder. Our mission is to deliver the right message to the right user at the right time- driving real dating outcomes. We support a homegrown CRM platform, own lifecycle notification development, and oversee operations to send billions of notifications each quarter. Through advanced targeting and bold experimentation, we drive feature adoption, retention, and meaningful engagement. We move fast, learn constantly, and scale with purpose. Where you'll work: This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration. This position is based in Los Angeles, CA. In this role, you will: Define and drive the roadmap for notification platform, triggers, personalization and decisioning Partner with teams across Tinder to develop effective content that drives engagement and retention Communicate experiment roadmaps, hypotheses, and results clearly across technical and non-technical audiences Own product specs and lead development for backend focused features Leverage Tinder's analytics tools to evaluate campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement using both quantitative and qualitative data Make thoughtful, data-informed trade-offs between scope, quality, and speed - and articulate those decisions to stakeholders Understand the Tinder ecosystem, user psychology, and behavioral patterns to inform your product strategy About You: Experience: you have 3+ years of product management experience, ideally at a consumer tech or mobile-first company Technical: direct experience working with backend teams on notifications, platform, or personalization systems Analytical: you trust data, know your way around dashboards, and can write SQL when needed Proactive: you turn vague ideas into structured plans and drive them to completion Naturally curious: you dig into the “why” behind user behavior and use those insights to guide decisions Clear communicator: you distill complex topics and collaborate well with engineers, designers, marketers, and leadership Bonus If You: Have experience working with ML engineers on propensity models to personalize recommendations and drive user engagement Background in notifications overseeing x-channel content strategy, copy generation, and testing Have exposure to mobile gaming, two-sided marketplaces, or other high-volume engagement environments As a full-time employee, you’ll enjoy: Flexible Vacation, 10 annual Sick Days Time off to volunteer and charitable donations matching Comprehensive health, vision, and dental coverage 100% 401(k) employer match up to 10%, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) 100% paid parental leave (including for non-birthing parents), family forming benefits, and Milk Stork, which provides acc
