Description
About Branch
Branch is shaking up the $46B office furniture industry to create an office experience for the 21st century: easy, affordable and flexible so you can sit down (or stand) and get to work. Office furniture hasn't changed in a while--about 85 years, in fact. That's the average age of the top twenty-five office furniture companies in America. None of them were born after the Internet. Branch makes beautiful and supportive work products for enterprises and home offices, too. Our mission extends beyond furniture into health, productivity and more.
We're based in NYC and backed by the investors behind household brands like Quip, Caraway and Peloton. Our founders arrive with experience in partnerships, real estate acquisitions and venture building at leading real estate companies like Oxford Properties, SL Green and Redfin.
We’re an ambitious group of problem solvers innovating across software, design and logistics, and we’re looking for entrepreneurial teammates who like a challenge.
The Role
We’re looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to own end-to-end inventory management across all sales channels. This role sits at the intersection of Forecasting, Production, Product Development, and Customer Experience, ensuring we have the right inventory, in the right place, at the right time.
You will be responsible for maintaining critical inventory reporting, proactively identifying risk, managing inventory flow, and communicating clearly across teams. This is a high-visibility role that directly impacts revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction.
This is a 12-month contract role covering maternity leave, with potential opportunity for extension based on business needs.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is deeply analytical and systems-oriented. You are extremely comfortable working in Excel and Google Sheets, confident manipulating large datasets, and capable of building clean, scalable reporting. You think in SKUs, lead times, and days of supply.
You don’t wait for someone to tell you there’s a problem, you spot it first. You’re comfortable communicating risk early, partnering cross-functionally, and working through ambiguity. Experience in inventory-heavy businesses, ideally furniture or durable goods, is a strong plus.
You are equal parts technical and operational. You can build the report, interpret the insight, and explain the impact clearly to stakeholders.

Build working prototypes for team workflow automations to streamline day-to-day functions
Contribute data and analysis to recurring planning cycles, executive updates, and other ad hoc initiatives
Continuously stress-test and iterate on automations, reporting, controls, and processes to increase efficiency, accuracy and reduce manual work
