Position: Phonetics Expert Type: Hourly contract Compensation: $40 - $95/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week Role Responsibilities Transcribe multimedia content with high accuracy, including precise timestamps. Analyze phonetic and phonological patterns in spoken language. Evaluate tone, emotion, and intent in verbal communication. Document grammatical structures and linguistic patterns across content. Define and interpret words and phrases within contextual meaning. Prepare clear and detailed reports on linguistic and phonetic analysis. Collaborate with teams to support advanced language and annotation tasks. Requirements Native-level English proficiency with strong communication skills. Strong experience in phonetic and phonological analysis. Expertise in precision transcription and linguistic annotation. Deep understanding of grammar, semantics, and language structures. Ability to analyze tone, emotion, and intent in speech. Excellent attention to detail and consistency in analysis. Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage tasks effectively.
