We are hiring for a rapidly scaling, embedded FinTech B2B SaaS company building modern accounting and bookkeeping infrastructure for SMB platforms. Backed by top-tier venture investors, the company is API-first, well-capitalized, and operating at strong growth velocity. It is assembling a high-ownership team in San Francisco to support its next phase of scale. Instead of relying on external tools, small businesses manage accounting directly within the software they already use. The platform supports complex, high-trust financial workflows while maintaining a clean, intuitive, consumer-like user experience. The company has raised $9M in funding, works with 25+ platform customers (Series A to public companies), and is at a critical inflection point as product surface area and customer adoption expand rapidly. Why should you consider this role? Own end-to-end product design, from discovery through high-fidelity UI, across embedded accounting and bookkeeping experiences. Act as the founding designer, owning the entire design function including product UX, design systems, and select brand/website work. Partner closely with the CEO and Engineering in a low-process, high-ownership environment. Design flexible, white-labeled UI patterns that adapt seamlessly to partner platforms. Build and evolve a cohesive design system without slowing shipping velocity. Translate ambiguous, data-heavy financial problems into clear, usable, production-ready experiences.
