The Client Partner / Sales Director will be responsible for driving strategic sales and expanding enterprise relationships by enabling organizations to establish and scale Global Capability Centers (GCCs) and Captive Centers in India. This role requires a strong ability to engage with senior stakeholders, understand client transformation agendas, and position end-to-end GCC solutions that support long-term business growth.
The role will focus on new business acquisition, strategic account development, and consultative selling to global enterprises looking to set up or expand their captive operations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales & Business Development
Drive new business acquisition by identifying and engaging global enterprises interested in establishing GCCs or Captive Centers in India.
Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, including opportunity identification, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Build strong relationships with CXOs, Global Delivery Heads, and Transformation Leaders within client organizations.
GCC & Captive Advisory
Act as a trusted advisor to clients on GCC strategy, location selection, operating models, and scaling frameworks.
Provide insights into India GCC ecosystem, talent availability, cost structures, and operational models.
Collaborate with internal teams to design customized GCC and captive solutions aligned with client business objectives.
Client Relationship Management
Establish and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key client stakeholders.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
Identify opportunities for account expansion, cross-selling, and upselling services within existing client accounts.
Solutioning & Collaboration
Work closely with delivery, HR, finance, and operations teams to structure compelling GCC proposals.
Support pre-sales engagements, workshops, and strategic discussions with prospective clients.
Coordinate internal teams to ensure successful client onboarding and transition into delivery.
Market Intelligence & Thought Leadership
Monitor industry trends in GCCs, captives, and global delivery models.
Represent the organization in industry forums, client events, and leadership discussions.
Provide insights to leadership on market opportunities and competitive positioning.
Reporting & Performance Management
Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasting through CRM tools.
Track deal progress, risk factors, and revenue projections.
Provide regular updates to senior leadership on business development initiatives and outcomes.
Required Skills
Strategic Sales & Consulting
Strong experience in selling GCC setups, captives, or global delivery models.
Ability to navigate complex enterprise sales cycles and multi-stakeholder environments.
Executive Relationship Management
Proven ability to engage with senior client leadership and decision-makers.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
Business & Market Understanding
Deep understanding of India’s GCC ecosystem, talent landscape, and offshore delivery models.
Leadership & Collaboration
Ability to work with cross-functional teams across delivery, operations, HR, and finance.
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
Communication & Presentation
Excellent presentation, storytelling, and executive communication skills.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
8-10 years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or consulting.
Proven track record of selling GCC setups, captive centers, or global delivery services.
Experience managing large enterprise accounts and complex deals.
