You will coordinate across distribution centers, carriers, and internal planning teams to guarantee on-time pickup and delivery performance. The position requires strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to manage logistics flows in real time. You will help optimize routing decisions, reduce transportation costs, and prevent service disruptions through continuous monitoring and communication. Accountabilities Manage outbound freight scheduling and tendering activities to ensure timely deliveries aligned with customer demand, supply availability, and service targets, while coordinating with carriers, distribution centers, and internal supply chain teams. Oversee load assignment and routing guide execution, ensuring proper carrier selection, cost efficiency, and compliance with transportation management system processes. Monitor shipments and proactively address potential delays or disruptions by collaborating with planning, order management, and warehouse teams to maintain service levels. Coordinate appointment scheduling for pickups and deliveries, updating Transportation Management System and related platforms to ensure data accuracy and visibility. Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve issues, manage exceptions, and maintain strong professional relationships. Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying process inefficiencies and contributing to better logistics performance and reporting. Requirements High school diploma or GED required, with 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation coordination, manufacturing operations, military logistics, or customer service within a supply chain environment. Strong understanding of freight scheduling, transportation workflows, and carrier management processes, with the ability to work in fast-paced operational settings. Experience using transportation management systems, ERP tools, or warehouse management platforms such as SAP or similar systems. Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve issues effectively under time constraints. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to anticipate and prevent service disruptions.
