Description
PART TIME - 40 HOURS PER PAY - REMOTEPosition Qualifications:ICD-9, CPT4, APC, and Modifier education; CCS, CPC, RHIT or RHIA preferred.
Previous coding experience preferred, will train with appropriate coding education.
Previous computer experience required.
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Needs organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
Assertive personality to present facts succinctly and directly to physicians and other healthcare providers. Flexible approach to problem solving.
Sitting and reviewing charts most of the time. Concurrent work requires going from floor to floor. Able to determine principal diagnosis, secondary, DRG, CPT, Modifier assignment.
