Operations Manager

Job Purpose To lead and manage fuel depot and hydrant operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and continuous fuel supply in line with company policies and international aviation fuel standards. The role plays a key part in maintaining operational efficiency, fuel quality, and customer satisfaction through effective planning and execution. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee daily fuel depot and hydrant operations to ensure uninterrupted and safe fuel supply Manage fuel receipt, storage, transfer, and distribution activities in line with operational requirements Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and international aviation fuel standards Monitor and maintain fuel quality through testing, documentation, and adherence to quality control procedures Manage fuel inventory, stock reconciliation, and loss control processes Supervise and develop operational teams to achieve performance targets and maintain high standards Monitor performance through KPIs, audits, and reports, ensuring timely resolution of issues Build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field Minimum 7 years of experience in fuel operations, aviation operations, depot operations, or related roles, including supervisory or managerial experience Strong knowledge of fuel depot operations, hydrant systems, and fuel distribution processes Familiarity with international aviation fuel standards (e.g., JIG, EI) Experience in fuel quality control, stock management, and operational planning Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Fluency in Arabic and English
