This role serves as the technical authority across integration architecture and Workday security, ensuring solutions are compliant, audit-ready, and aligned with enterprise standards.The role partners closely with HR, IT, InfoSec, and third-party vendors to ensure that all integrations are secure-by-design, properly documented, and operationally sustainable.In this role, a typical day will look like: Architecture & DesignDefine and own end-to-end architecture for Workday integrations and security designEstablish secure integration patterns, including authentication, encryption, and data transfer mechanismsDesign and govern Workday security models (ISUs, ISSGs, domain security, segmented security)Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security standardsSolution Delivery & ExecutionLead full lifecycle delivery of integrations from requirements through deploymentTranslate business and compliance requirements into scalable technical designsOversee development using Workday tools (Studio, EIB, APIs, XSLT)Ensure adherence to integration development and security standardsSecurity, Risk & ComplianceEnsure all solutions meet internal security policies and audit requirements (e.g., SOX, data protection standards)Validate secure configuration of integrations (SFTP, APIs, certificates, encryption)Own integration-related audit readiness, documentation, and control evidencePartner with InfoSec and audit teams to address compliance gapsGovernance & StandardsEstablish and enforce integration and security standards, naming conventions, and documentation practicesMaintain integration inventory, architecture diagrams, and data flow documentationPerform impact analysis for Workday releases and security changesDrive consistency across global teams and vendorsStakeholder & Vendor ManagementAct as technical advisor to HR, IT, and Security stakeholdersPartner with vendors (e.g., Deloitte, PwC) to ensure solution quality and complianceLead architecture reviews, design sessions, and security validationsProduction Support & Incident ManagementServe as escalation point for complex integration and security issuesLead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution for incidentsEnsure operational stability and continuous improvement of integrationsTesting & Quality AssuranceDefine integration and security testing strategies (unit, SIT, UAT, security validation)Ensure validation of data accuracy, integrity, and access controlsOversee defect management and resolution processesThe essential requirements of the job include: 7-10years of experience in enterprise applications (Workday preferred)Strong hands-on experience with: Workday Studio, EIB, Core ConnectorsREST/SOAP APIs, XSLTWorkday Extend, OrchestrateExperience with:Workday HCM modules such as Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Talent, Learning, or PayrollSupporting global or multi-country HCM integrations.Workday implementation, post-production optimization, or tenant transformation programs.Deep understanding of: Workday security framework (domains, roles, ISUs/ISSGs)Secure integration design (encryption, SFTP, certificates)Experience supporting audits and regulatory compliance initiativesProven experience leading complex technical solutions end-to-endWith annual sales of $5 billion,Veraltois a global leader in essential technology solutions with a proventrack recordof solving some of the most complex challenges we face as a society. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The compensation range for this role is $140,000 - $160,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
