Scope of the Role We’re looking for a Video Editor to transform raw footage into polished, engaging content that brings Poncho’s products and brand to life. You’ll craft edits for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and e-commerce—balancing lifestyle appeal with performance messaging. This role is central to how Poncho connects with outdoor enthusiasts and everyday consumers through video content that inspires and converts. Requirements Key Responsibilities • Edit short-form content (TikTok, Instagram Reels, Meta ads) tailored to each platform • Produce longer-form videos (brand stories, YouTube, landing pages) that highlight lifestyle and product features • Add motion graphics, captions, sound design, and enhancements to maximize engagement • Collaborate with creative strategists, designers, and copywriters to align with campaign goals • Repurpose and optimize assets for different formats and platforms • Stay current with social media trends and apply them to editing styles • Manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines Requirements • Strong portfolio/reel showcasing editing skills, ideally with outdoor, lifestyle, or apparel brands • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent tools • Deep understanding of pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling • Experience editing for TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and e-commerce platforms • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a remote team • Comfortable experimenting with new editing techniques and formats Preferred Qualifications • Skills in color correction, motion design, or sound mixing • Familiarity with performance marketing and conversion-driven content • Experience adapting content for multiple audiences and channels • Interest in outdoor lifestyle and product innovation Position: Video Editor – Brand & Performance Content Type of Contract: Independent Contractor Schedule: Full-time, timezone-shifted support for CST (within 2 hours preferred) Location: Remote 🌎 – Work around the world About the Company Poncho is a performance apparel brand built for adventure and everyday life.
