Tasks
Contact person for all questions regarding income tax and social security in payroll accounting
Analysis of deviations as well as independent execution of correction calculations
Reliable implementation of legal changes and company regulations in Payroll
Processing of travel expenses and other payroll-relevant benefits
Maintenance of master data and digital personnel files in the accounting system as well as monitoring of working hours, shift models, and absences
Creation of meaningful evaluations and statistics for HR, Controlling, and Management
Administration of tax-free and flat-rate taxed benefits (e.g., benefits in kind, vouchers)
Communication with the Finanzamt, social security institutions, and other authorities as well as support of internal processes
Participation in the optimization and harmonization of Payroll processes, standards, and interfaces
Support and advising of HR and managers on complex issues
Qualification
Several years of experience (at least 5 years) in German payroll accounting; confident handling of common accounting systems such as DATEV and HR Suite REXX is an advantage
Completed commercial training or comparable qualification
Profound knowledge of tax and social security law as well as complex accounting processes
Responsible, committed, and with a hands-on mentality, coupled with logical-analytical thinking skills and high attention to detail
Service-oriented and communicative, confident in dealing with colleagues, customers, and authorities
Empathetic and team-oriented with high social competence
Interest in process optimization and digitalization of HR and Payroll processes
Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel
Very good German skills (C1) for secure communication with authorities and employees
