Position Summary The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing contractor and supplier engineering activities from early project development through execution. This role ensures effective coordination across engineering and cross-functional teams, maintaining alignment with project objectives, technical standards, and overall project delivery requirements. The position is accountable for preserving the technical integrity of engineering deliverables throughout the full project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Project Manager, Engineering leadership, and cross-functional teams to support timely and cost-effective project execution. Oversee the quality and completeness of engineering designs and deliverables, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, applicable codes, and regulatory standards. Manage engineering administration processes, including document control, review and approval workflows, document numbering systems, and comment resolution. Participate in key project meetings and lead technical coordination sessions with internal and external stakeholders. Direct and support the engineering efforts of contractors and suppliers to ensure consistency, adherence to schedules, and cost control. Promote the adoption of innovative technologies and methodologies to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and project performance. Establish and enforce engineering standards, procedures, and quality assurance practices. Ensure compliance with project health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with contractors, vendors, and external partners to support successful project delivery. Perform additional duties as required. Qualifications Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in engineering, with demonstrated experience in engineering or project management. Experience supporting large-scale energy or industrial infrastructure projects, with LNG facility experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies Strong understanding of engineering design principles and project execution processes. Proven project and program management capabilities, including planning, coordination, and delivery. Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies. Working knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks applicable to large-scale industrial projects. Familiarity with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management systems and best practices.
