Remote Senior Accountant

As a Remote Accountant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional accounting services to our clients, leveraging your expertise in platforms such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, and other similar software.Responsibilities:Manage and reconcile client accounts using QuickBooks Online, Xero, and other accounting software platforms.Prepare financial statements, reports, and tax returns accurately and in a timely manner.Assist clients with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.Collaborate with team members and clients to address accounting-related inquiries and issues.Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide valuable insights to clients.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA certification is a plus and would be considered an advantage.Proven experience working with QuickBooks Online, Xero, and other similar accounting software platforms.Previous experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm is highly preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work efficiently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with team members and clients.Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Flexible remote work environment.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and more.Originally posted on Himalayas
