Implementation Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Implementation Developer to join our Rapid Response Team, focused on maintaining and enhancing critical document processing applications. This role is ideal for a technically strong problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working with complex data and document workflows. You will be responsible for implementing quick-turnaround changes, resolving production issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of customer communication systems. Required technical skills: Strong experience with OpenText Exstream Dialogue (essential)Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languagesExperience with document composition/CCM platforms (e.g., Sefas, GMC, or similar)Solid understanding of data processing and multiple data formats (XML, CSV, fixed-width, EBCDIC, AFP, PostScript, PDF)Experience working in Linux/Unix environmentsFamiliarity with Jira or similar work management toolsTechnical analysis and problem solving: Investigate and resolve complex document processing and data-related issuesDiagnose problems arising from customer-specific data scenarios and formatting variationsIdentify root causes and implement robust, long-term solutionsStrong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with keen attention to detailKey responsibilities: Maintain and enhance existing document processing and composition applicationsImplement move/add/change requests (typically 3–20 hours in scope)Modify workflows, templates, and page objects using CCM tools and scripting languagesEnsure all changes align with technical design and business requirements Reference number for this position is GZ61309 which is a permanent remote position offering a cost to company salary of R1m per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
