You will architect and deliver LLM‑powered applications, including Copilot‑style experiences, AI agents, and automation at enterprise scale.You will operate with high autonomy, own complex technical initiatives end‑to‑end, and influence GenAI architecture and standards across teams.Reports ToSenior Manager-Information SecurityWhat You Will Be DoingAs a Senior GenAI Engineer, you will:Architect and build LLM‑based applications such as copilots, chatbots, and AI agentsDesign and optimize RAG and grounded AI systems using enterprise dataLead development of agentic workflows with tool/function calling and multi‑step reasoningOwn backend services and APIs for AI inference and orchestrationDrive LLMOps / GenAIOps practices (evaluation, monitoring, CI/CD, versioning)Optimize AI systems for quality, cost, latency, and reliabilityApply and advocate for Responsible AI and security‑by‑designMentor engineers and influence AI engineering best practicesPartner with product, platform, and security teams to shape AI strategyWhat You Will Bring to ChargePointProven ability to own ambiguous, complex problem spacesExperience influencing architecture and technical direction beyond your immediate teamStrong system design and debugging skills for distributed AI systemsAbility to balance speed, quality, and risk in production AI deploymentsPassion for building scalable, maintainable, and responsible AI platformsStrong communication skills with engineers, product managers, and leadershipRequirements10+ years of professional software engineering experienceStrong development skills in Python (required); experience with Java, Go, or TypeScript is a plusDeep hands‑on experience with LLMs and Generative AI systemsStrong experience with RAG, embeddings, vector search, and prompt engineeringExperience building Copilot‑style or agent‑based AI systemsStrong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and microservicesExperience deploying and operating systems using Docker/KubernetesExperience with Azure, AWS, or GCPFamiliarity with LLMOps / MLOps practicesGood to HaveExperience with AI governance, compliance, or regulated enterprise environmentsExperience with vector databases and retrieval optimizationPrior ownership of AI systems running in production at scaleLocationRemote location in IndiaWe are committed to an inclusive and diverse team.
