Manufacturing Engineering Manager (m/f)

In our Zagreb hub Iskraemeco Holosys we are looking for an experienced and driven Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead and develop our production organization. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing manufacturing operations, optimizing production processes, and ensuring the successful industrialization of technically complex products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time, while continuously improving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety across the production environment. Your responsibilities will include: Organization, leadership, and development of the production team. Planning, coordination, and supervision of production processes in line with plans and deadlines. Responsibility for achieving production targets (quality, cost, delivery, safety). Optimization of production processes, materials, and workflows (Lean, continuous improvement). Close cooperation with development, quality, and supply chain teams during new product introduction (NPI). Definition and maintenance of production procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation. Participation in product industrialization and transfer from development to serial production. Monitoring and analysis of production KPIs and proposing corrective and preventive actions. Ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and regulatory obligations. Management of technical resources, equipment, and production capacities. Active involvement in solving technical and organizational issues in production. Cooperation with external partners and suppliers in manufacturing and testing activities. The competencies we are looking for: University degree in a technical field (electronics, mechanical engineering, or similar). At least 5 years of experience in a production environment, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role. Experience in manufacturing electronic devices or technically complex products. Solid understanding of production processes, testing, quality control, and industrialization. Proven experience in team management – work organization, motivation, employee development, and mentoring. Analytical mindset, structured problem-solving approach, and results-oriented attitude. Knowledge of Lean / Continuous Improvement principles is an advantage. Willingness to take ownership and make decisions. Good knowledge of English nd Croation lanfuage both written and spoken.
