About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Financial Controller to join our leadership team. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence group-level financial decisions, standardize reporting, and drive digital transformation across WRC and TSM Global. You will serve as a key partner to senior management, providing insights that enhance profitability, efficiency, and compliance across all entities. Reporting To Directors & CEO (Initially under TSM Global Berhad) Key Responsibilities - Lead group consolidation and reporting, ensuring timely, accurate, and actionable financial insights. - Standardize and oversee subsidiary reporting, including JK, aligning all entities with group-wide financial standards. - Drive financial digitalization, process improvement, and KPI standardization across the group. - Partner with department heads to enhance financial discipline, operational efficiency, and internal control compliance. - Analyze business performance, identifying opportunities to maximize profitability and optimize operations. - Prepare and present strategic management reports to the Director and CEO. - Evaluate potential investments, acquisitions, and business opportunities through robust financial modeling and projections. - Manage banking relationships, audits, and interactions with external stakeholders to ensure financial credibility and transparency. Who We’re Looking For - Degree in Accounting or Finance. - Qualified with a recognized body (MIA, ACCA, ICAEW). - Experienced finance professional with strong group consolidation and reporting expertise. - Experience as a Financial Controller. - Minimum experience requirements: Audit (>3 years), Taxation (>3 years), Group Consolidation (>5 years), Reporting – Digitalization & Standardization (>5 years), and Corporate Finance (>3 years). - Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proven leader capable of influencing senior management and guiding finance teams. - Comfortable with digital transformation, financial systems, and process improvement initiatives. - Willing to travel occasionally to support subsidiary operations in Johor and Perak.
