Electrical Engineer / Firmware Engineers Job Overview My client is a high-growth technology company building advanced embedded and autonomous systems deployed in real-world environments. They are hiring Electrical and Firmware Engineers to help design and develop critical hardware and embedded software systems across next-generation products. The company is expanding its engineering teams in both Austin, TX and San Jose, CA. The San Jose opportunity is particularly unique, as you'll be joining a brand-new engineering hub during its early growth phase. Engineers hired into the San Jose team will initially work remotely while the new facility is completed before transitioning to a full-time onsite environment. This is a highly hands-on engineering environment focused on hardware/software integration, embedded systems, and real-time performance. Locations: Austin, TX or San Jose, CA Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite (San Jose roles begin remotely until the new office opens) Salary: $120K–$225K Base + Equity Relocation Assistance Available What You'll Be Doing • PCB design and hardware integration • Embedded C++ development • Real-time systems and Linux debugging • Lab testing with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers • Working with CAN, UART, SPI, Ethernet, and I2C • Collaborating closely with hardware and software engineering teams Qualifications • Experience in embedded systems or electrical engineering • Strong C++ and/or firmware development background • Experience working close to hardware • Linux development and debugging experience preferred • Python scripting is a plus Please note: We are unable to provide sponsorship at this time.
