Custom Furniture Designer

RemoteVA PH is looking for a highly skilled Designer/Draftsperson who specializes in custom furniture design (not standard kitchens). The ideal candidate will be an expert in producing detailed, accurate technical drawings and be proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp. A strong background in custom woodwork design is a significant advantage.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate precise and detailed 2D and 3D drawings for custom furniture projects. Collaborate with clients, project managers, and craftsmen to ensure designs meet specifications. Prepare accurate shop drawings and construction details. Modify and adjust drawings based on feedback and production requirements. Ensure all designs comply with structural and material considerations for custom wood fabrication. RequirementsQualificationsProficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (required). Proven experience creating detailed technical drawings for furniture or millwork. Knowledge of custom wood construction techniques (highly preferred). Strong attention to detail and ability to translate design concepts into production-ready drawings. Work Requirements-Must have your own laptop or desktop.Stable internet connection and a backup device/connection for emergencies.
