We're looking for a Senior Go Backend Developer to join their engineering team in Hamburg (hybrid working model). This is an English-speaking environment with colleagues from around the world, and relocation support is available for candidates moving to Germany. Tasks Building and scaling high-performance Go services Processing and analysing millions of real-time events daily Designing distributed systems using Kafka and event-driven architectures Developing APIs and data platforms used by external partners Optimising database performance across large-scale datasets Contributing to cloud-native, microservices-based infrastructure Requirements 5+ years of software development experience 3+ years of commercial Go development Strong experience with distributed systems and microservices Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar messaging technologies Solid database optimisation skills (MySQL, Druid, or similar) Experience operating services at significant scale Benefits Hybrid working model in Hamburg English-speaking international team Relocation support provided Competitive salary up to €90,000, depending on experience Opportunity to work on systems serving hundreds of millions of users worldwide Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
