Test Automation Engineer (Web)

As a Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for building and maintaining automated tests that ensure the reliability and performance of our web-based software products.You will work closely with developers and product teams to integrate testing directly into the development workflow and help deliver stable, high-quality releases.This role is highly hands-on, with a strong emphasis on writing code for automation rather than managing test processes or documentation-heavy workflows.What is your Day to Day Mission:Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for web applications (UI, API, and integration levels)Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelinesAnalyze test results, debug failures, and help identify root causesContribute to test strategy and tooling decisions with a pragmatic, engineering-driven mindsetContinuously improve test reliability, execution speed, and maintainabilityPerform targeted manual or exploratory testing when automation is not sufficientWhat you bring to the team:3+ years of experience in test automation or software engineeringStrong programming skills (e.g., TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or similar)Hands-on experience with modern automation tools such as:Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similarSolid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, browser behavior, APIs)Nice to Have:Experience testing REST APIs and working with tools like Postman or similarFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)Basic frontend development experience (React, Angular, Vue, or similar)Experience with test architecture/design patterns (Page Object Model, fixtures, etc.)Ability to debug issues across the stack (frontend ↔ backend ↔ test code)Knowledge of performance or load testingWhy Quantum-Systems:We believe in the power of combined efforts: straightforward tech expertise paired with a customer-centric focus.We are industry pioneers who are ambitious, bold, and visionary.
