SDE – Software Development Engineer

Job Description: Seeking a Full Stack Software Development Engineer (SDE) interested in expanding their experience in the blockchain industry. We currently use the following technologies in our products: • Back End: Ruby, Node.js • Front End: Angular.js, TypeScript • Web: HTML5 & CSS3 • GCP (Google Cloud Platform) Duties and Responsibilities: • Participate in the entire development life cycle, from concept to release • Implement new features and improve on current front end • Working closely with Operations team to deliver products based on needs and business objectives. • Managing product life cycles according to the company’s strategy and goals. • Developing product knowledge in order to clearly articulate market portfolio strategies • Meeting the product’s financial, strategic, and technical goals. • Tailoring features of the product to meet the requirement. • Working closely with support teams to diagnose production issues. • Involvement in projects. Requirements of the Technical Support Analyst. • Experience of delivering exceptional service. Qualifications: • Educated to minimum of Masters’ Degree level in Computer Science. • 5+ years software development experience. • 3+ years development experience for web services or applications. • Must have a solid understanding of blockchain technology and Finance. • Experience building highly scalable, high availability application. • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills for multiple, concurrent projects. • Excellent communication skills in business writing and speaking. • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with frequent production releases. • Must be self-motivated, responsible, proactive and work as team. • Excellent verbal and written communication, at least fluent in both English and Mandarin. Nice to Have: • Previous experience in Cryptocurrency space and Blockchain is a plus. • Solid system design and architecture experience. • Experience implementing responsive designs for mobile, API, and desktop browsers • Familiarity with SaaS apps (Google Docs, Salesforce, etc.) • MySQL database experience (performance, scalability, availability) • Experience developing service framework Work location: Dubai Type: Full-time We would love to hear from YOU!
