The Safety Manager will work to implement the Bradley Safety program at our wind and solar project sites and ensure a safe work environment for team members, contractors, and visitors to the construction work site.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Organization, flexibility, outstanding focus and strong communication are critical in performing duties which include, but are not limited to:Assist project management team in developing and executing site specific safety program and Emergency Action PlanImplement and administer safety program at each worksite for team membersAdvise, coordinate, and conduct safety orientation and training programs at the project levelReview and track all safety violations, unsafe conditions, good catches, etc.Conduct work area safety auditsProvide Daily, Weekly, Monthly Safety Reports as required.Review project’s leading and trailing indicator data/document collection and trend analysesReview major incident analysis with corporate managementAnalyze Safety, Injury and Hazard statisticsCoordinate OSHA reporting and posting requirementsAdminister BCM (BIM), BV (Qesis). and Developer Safety Audit ProgramsReview Safety Submittals and attend preconstruction and preparatory meetings with contractorsMonitor and review trade partner work plans and activities for safety concernsAssist with onsite injury management and case managementAssist with the organization and implementation of project safety celebrations and recognition/reward programsEvaluate and offer solutions for industrial hygiene concernsMaintain operational knowledge of construction safety, OSHA, ANSI, and other applicable standards, regulations, laws, and proceduresServe as resource for safety issues or concerns for all project team membersAttend and/or chair safety meetingsAccompany safety, health, insurance, and OSHA personnel on work-site toursAssist the Project Manager with the management of the safety budget allocated for projectSkillsThe requirements listed below are representative of acquired skills required.In-depth knowledge of construction products, plans, specifications, project workflow/sequencing, and PV construction industry best practicesStrong understanding of NECExperience in similar capacity on a project team for commercial projects directing crews or tradesmen in general construction, assembly and/or electrical workDocumented history of managing crews and subcontractors in the fieldKnowledge of major PV components (PV modules, inverters, and racking systems, etc.) preferredTower Safety and Climbing CertifiedStrong Microsoft office familiarityMust have OSHA 500/ First Aid/ CPR or equivalent or be able to obtain it in a short period of timeCompetenciesThe requirements listed below are competencies required to perform the job successfully.Must have a clean driving record and a valid state driver’s license with the ability to travel as requiredMust be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
