Our clients' success is our success, and we're looking for a skilled Tax Accountant to become an essential part of our team and contribute to this mission.Key Responsibilities:Analysis of financial information and preparation of financial reports to determine or maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities for clients.Prepare various tax returns, including 1040, 1040NR, FBAR, 1120, 1120S, 1120F, 1065, and 5471.Review and process incoming financial documentation such as such as bank statements and client documentation. Facilitating clients to ensure they are complying with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.Perform additional accounting and tax-related responsibilities as assigned.Some of your abilities for success are:Analytical skills and meticulous attention to detailCommunication and organization skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced and high-volume work environmentMust be comfortable reading, writing, and speaking to clients about tax accounting matters in both English and Spanish.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Taxation and 5+year experience. Experience in US Tax PreparationProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)Proficiency in QuickBooks and Tax ProgramsAdvanced level of English & SpanishPrior experience preparing complex tax returns and corporate tax filingsPreferred Qualifications:3+ years experience working in a CPA or Bookkeeping firmAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelIntermediate Knowledge of QuickBooksExperience working with UltraTax CSCPA or Enrolled Agent certification, or active pursuit of certificationExperience working for a US-based CompaniesDemonstrated experience with tax planning and advising for multinational clientsAbout GBS Group:At GBS Group, we help entrepreneurs and executives create opportunities by building better businesses.
