Senior Platform Engineer (AWS)

We are hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to help evolve and operate our cloud platform as we scale product delivery across teams. Our platform is built on AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), and managed cloud services, with a strong focus on security, reliability, and observability by default. Product teams own their services end-to-end, and the Platform team enables this through tooling, infrastructure, and guardrails. This is an infrastructure-focused role with an enablement mindset. You’ll work across multiple teams and services, influencing reliability, security, and platform practices beyond a single domain. Your tasks Evolve the reliability and operational foundations of our AWS-based platform Improve observability, alerting, and incident response practices Build tooling and guardrails that enable teams to deploy and operate services independently Improve security, access control, and network foundations across the platform Partner with engineering teams to reduce operational risk and improve system reliability Requirements Several years of experience in SRE, Platform Engineering, DevOps or Infrastructure-focused Software Engineering in production environments Strong experience operating production systems on AWS, including networking, IAM, and managed services, as well as familiarity with identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Hands-on Kubernetes experience (EKS or similar) Solid understanding of Linux, networking, and cloud-native systems Experience with observability tooling and operational best practices Strong programming skills in at least one language (e.g., Go, Python, Java, Kotlin, TypeScript) A pragmatic mindset focused on enablement, automation, and long-term reliability What we offer As part of the bonify team, you'll have: The opportunity to take ownership from day one The chance to thrive in a dynamic and flexible startup environment.
