Description

About SearadarSearadar is a European yacht charter marketplace that helps sailors find and book sailing yachts and catamarans across 20+ destinations. We are a team of 30+ people working remotely from 10+ countries. TrustPilot 4.9/5, 70%+ repeat clients. We are launching a new strategic direction: fully online booking. Today, our funnel works through a concierge model — leads come in, a sales manager consults, and the booking happens manually. Our goal is to build a self-service booking experience where the customer can search, compare, and pay online — reducing sales involvement and scaling the business. The RoleWe are looking for a Product Designer who can own the full design cycle: from research and discovery to wireframes and high-fidelity UI. You will be the first dedicated design hire for this product line, working directly with the Head of Marketing (product owner) and the dev team (frontend, backend, QA).This is not a “make it pretty” role. Your job is to figure out how to replace a human sales manager with an interface that converts. You need to understand why users drop off, design solutions, test them, and iterate.TasksWhat You Will DoConduct a UX audit of the current booking flow and competitor analysis (Click&Boat, Zizoo, GetMyBoat, Tubber)Map current and target Customer Journey Maps for the booking funnelRun short interviews with clients and/or sales managers to uncover pain pointsDesign wireframes and prototypes for key screens: search, yacht card, comparison, checkout, paymentCreate high-fidelity UI, design system components, and responsive (mobile-first) layoutsWork with analytics (PostHog) to form hypotheses and design A/B test variantsPrepare specs and assets for handoff to frontend developmentRequirementsMust-Have3+ years of product design experience, ideally in e-commerce, marketplace, or travel/bookingProven ability to do both UX research (audits, CJMs, user interviews) AND UI design (hi-fi, design systems)Strong portfolio showing conversion-focused design (not just visual concepts)Figma proficiency (prototyping, components, auto-layout, dev handoff)Ability to work autonomously, you will get goals and context, not pixel-level specsFluent English (working language), and RussianNice-to-HaveExperience with analytics tools (PostHog, Hotjar, Google Analytics) and data-informed designA/B testing experienceFamiliarity with travel/charter/booking industryBasic understanding of HTML/CSS (for realistic design decisions)BenefitsWhat We OfferFully remote work from anywhere in the world.Flexible working hours aligned with team processes. An international team building a product for the global market.Compensation tied to EUR, discussed individually.Team offsite events, including an annual yacht regatta.Clear communication, minimal bureaucracy, and a collaborative international environmentThe opportunity to shape financial processes and reporting — not by rigid templates, but in a way that is truly efficient and practical.Originally posted on Himalayas
