Overview:
Veronica Beard is seeking a Design Director, Brand Creative to help lead the execution and evolution of the brand’s visual identity across all channels. Reporting to the Senior Director, Brand Creative, this role will oversee the development and delivery of cohesive brand creative across print, digital, retail, packaging, and experiential touchpoints. This role will play a key role in elevating the in-house creative standard, ensuring consistency, craft, and innovation across all consumer-facing assets.
Responsibilities:
Translate seasonal campaign direction into a unified 360° brand experience while guiding the broader ecosystem of creative output—from print to digital to social and retail
Lead the execution of integrated brand creative across print collateral, direct mail, catalogs, packaging, in store graphics, wholesale materials, OOH, advertising, and digital platforms
Oversee the development of digital brand assets including site, email, social, and paid media, ensuring a unified visual language across all platforms
Collaborate with e-commerce and site merchandising teams to ensure the brand identity is consistently reflected across the digital customer experience
Oversee the design and production of seasonal catalogs, invitations, retail signage, OOH, print advertising and other printed materials with a strong eye for typography, layout, and detail
Own and evolve all brand packaging design, including seasonal updates and core systems, ensuring alignment with brand standards, quality, and overall customer experience
Uphold and refine brand standards, evolving the visual system while maintaining clarity and consistency across all executions
Lead the creative development and execution of experiential marketing initiatives, retail activations, and events, ensuring all physical touchpoints deliver cohesive brand experiences
Lead post-production processes including retouching oversight, color review, and final asset approvals to maintain the highest visual standards
Implement and maintain rigorous quality control across all creative deliverables
Manage and mentor designers, providing clear creative direction, thoughtful feedback, and support to elevate output across projects
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, E-commerce, Social, Retail, and Wholesale teams to align on priorities, timelines, and deliverables
Ensure all projects are delivered on time, with exceptional craft, attention to detail, and alignment across every consumer touchpoint
Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually evolve and elevate the brand’s creative output
Qualifications:
10+ years of design and art direction experience, preferably within luxury fashion, lifestyle, or a creative agency environment
Proven track record executing integrated creative campaigns across multiple channels
Strong portfolio demonstrating elevated branding, campaign development, typography, and print expertise
Deep understanding of 360° brand building across both physical and digital environments
Exceptional eye for typography, composition, and detail
Innovative thinker always seeking to grow and push brand direction forward
Confident creative voice with the ability to articulate vision and inspire teams
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro), Capture One, and Figma
The base salary range for this role is between $140,000 and $150,000. The relevant base salary will vary depending on wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications. The base salary is just one component of our total compensation offerings, which consist of a comprehensive benefits package as well as a short-term incentive program, clothing allowance, and merchandise discounts.
