SAP S/4HANA Cloud Project Systems Consultant (PS)

This is a remote position.KATBOTZ LLC is seeking an experiencedSAP S/4HANA Cloud Project Systems Consultant (PS)to support enterprise project management and ERP transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in project planning, budgeting, cost tracking, revenue recognition, resource management, capital projects, and project lifecycle management within SAP S/4HANA Cloud.The consultant will work closely with project managers, finance teams, operations leaders, and cross-functional SAP teams to design, configure, test, and deploy SAP S/4HANA Cloud Project Systems solutions that enable effective project execution and financial control.Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Design & ConfigurationLead Fit-to-Standard workshops and gather business requirements.Design and configure SAP S/4HANA Cloud Project Systems processes including:Project Structures (WBS Elements)Project Planning and SchedulingProject BudgetingCost Planning and TrackingResource PlanningInternal and External Project CostsProject Procurement IntegrationMilestone BillingRevenue RecognitionCapital Investment ProjectsProject SettlementProject Reporting and AnalyticsConfigure project profiles, coding structures, and financial controls.Implementation & DeliveryParticipate in SAP Activate implementation projects.Prepare functional specifications and process documentation.Support project-related master data and migration activities.Execute unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Support cutover planning, deployment, and go-live activities.Integration & CollaborationCollaborate closely with:Finance (FI)Controlling (CO)Procurement (MM)Manufacturing (PP)Sales (SD)Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management teamsEnsure seamless integration between project execution and financial processes.Support & OptimizationProvide post-go-live support and hypercare.Troubleshoot project system and process issues.Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.Support SAP quarterly cloud release assessments and testing.Drive adoption of SAP project management best practices.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field.10+ years of SAP PS consulting experience.Minimum 2 SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation projects.Strong expertise in:Project Structures (WBS)Project BudgetingCost Planning & TrackingProject SettlementCapital ProjectsRevenue RecognitionResource PlanningExperience with SAP Activate methodology.Experience conducting Fit-to-Standard workshops.Strong understanding of project accounting and project lifecycle management.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.Preferred QualificationsSAP S/4HANA Cloud Certification in Project Systems or Finance.Experience with:Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM)Professional Services ProjectsCapital Investment ManagementSAP Analytics CloudSAP Fiori ApplicationsEmbedded AnalyticsExperience supporting global and multi-country implementations.Experience in engineering, construction, utilities, manufacturing, energy, or professional services industries.Key SkillsSAP S/4HANA Cloud Project Systems (PS)Project Planning & SchedulingWork Breakdown Structures (WBS)Project BudgetingCost Planning & TrackingProject SettlementRevenue RecognitionSAP ActivateSAP FioriData MigrationOriginally posted on Himalayas
