The focus is on the transfer of ETL pipelines as well as the continuous further development of Business Intelligence applications using modern tools such as dbt.</p> <p><strong>Key Facts</strong><br> Start: 01.05.2026<br> Duration: not known<br> Capacity: 100 %<br> Employment type:<br> Job site: Hannover<br> Job country: Germany</p> <p>Your Responsibilities</p> <p>• Participation in the operation as well as the new and further development of Business Intelligence applications</p> <p>• Support in the migration of existing ETL pipelines from Matillion to dbt</p> <p>• Creation and maintenance of dbt artifacts, including models, tests, and documentation</p> <p>• Collaboration on the design as well as the functional and technical modeling of Data Warehouses</p> <p>• Ensuring software and data quality through rule-based checks</p> <p>• Implementation and execution of automated tests in the dbt environment</p> <p>• Accompaniment and execution of measures for the continuous improvement of BI processes</p> <p>• Implementation of best practices in the area of modularization and naming conventions</p> <p>• Analysis of end-to-end BI data flows from the source through the DWH to reporting</p> <p>Must-have Requirements</p> <p>• Very good dbt knowledge including the development of dbt models, creation of dbt artifacts (documentation, tests), and implementation of best practices such as modularization</p> <p>• Sound knowledge in functional and technical Data Warehouse modeling</p> <p>• In-depth understanding of end-to-end Business Intelligence data flows from the source through the DWH to reporting</p> <p>• Experience in the operation (Run) as well as in the further development of BI applications</p> <p>• Competence in ensuring data and software quality through rule-based checks and automated tests</p> <p>• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate functional requirements into precise technical solutions</p> <p>• Team-oriented and a strong customer-oriented way of working</p> <p>• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken</p> <p>Nice-to-have Requirements</p> <p>• Practical experience in the migration of ETL pipelines, ideally from Matillion to dbt</p> <p>• Basic knowledge in the insurance-related Business Intelligence environment</p> <p>Further Information</p> <p>The assignment takes place at the locations Hannover or Cologne with a share of 30 on-site days.
