Senior Azure Data Engineer – Full Remote - Contractor - Salary in USD

Category: IT Services Location: For an international organization in New York, we are urgently looking for a REMOTE (Senior) Azure Data Engineer. Candidates need to be fluent in English. All positions are long-term. Candidates need to be able to work 4-6 hours per day in the normal office hours of New York, US. Example 9AM NY time equals 7:30PM Sri Lanka time.Tasks and deliverables:Collecting large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements.Identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes. Building required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources using Azure and SQL technologies.Building analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics including operational efficiency and customer acquisition.Working with stakeholders including cloud infrastructure teams, data teams, governance, and information management officers, to collaboratively design, develop and deploy and support data solutions and related infrastructure.Profile:Bachelor or University degreeMinimum 3 years of experience with Azure Data Factory - Extraction, Transformation and Loading experienceMinimum 3 years of experience with Azure Storage/ Data Lake / Data WarehouseMinimum 2 years of experience with Database architecture testing methodology, including execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and toolsMinimum 2 years of experience with Azure Synapse analyticsExperience with Azure DevOps and Azure Purview is nice to have;Excellent knowledge of English (both written and verbal) is required;Offered:​Challenging role for an international organization in New York;Attractive salary package;Interested: Please send you CV to apply@goproconsultancy.comDetailsOriginally posted on Himalayas
