What will you do as a Supply Chain Operations Director at Sealed Air?
As a Supply Chain Operations Director, you will be responsible for leading the Integrated Fabrication Systems (IFS) manufacturing network across Juárez, Chihuahua, Guadalajara (Mexico), and Austin and Nashville (U.S.), reporting to the Executive Director, Global IFS Supply Chain. Your mission will be to drive a culture of continuous improvement, quality, zero incidents, and operational excellence, with a strong focus on process automation.
You will be expected to establish robust process controls across inventory, production targets, and customer deliveries, ensuring effective communication with business leaders, integration of best practices, and alignment of the supply chain with a competitive business environment.
Why do we need you?
Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations across the IFS plant network, ensuring alignment with business strategy, production targets, and operational excellence standards.
Own order fulfillment and distribution performance, including outbound logistics, exports, and on-time delivery to customers.
Drive strategic and operational procurement, including sourcing execution, inbound logistics, and import processes to ensure supply continuity.
Lead the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and develop the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) in close partnership with supply chain and business leaders.
Oversee and develop plant teams, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Manage key supply chain KPIs (safety, quality, service, cost, delivery), inventory levels, obsolescence, and overall operational budget, including freight.
Lead and execute strategic initiatives, including CAPEX projects, automation efforts, and continuous improvement programs such as Lean Six Sigma.
Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, procurement, R&D) to optimize operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive long-term performance and growth across the network.
What do you need to be successful?
Strong knowledge of manufacturing, quality, procurement, and industrial safety.
Proven ability to lead both direct and indirect teams, including work allocation, coaching, development, and decision-making.
Project management expertise.
Exceptional communication and influencing skills, from shop floor to executive leadership.
Strategic leadership combined with strong execution capabilities.
Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (Visual and/or SAP), process mapping, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Minimum Green Belt certification (or equivalent training with a completed project).
Strong organizational, planning, and facilitation skills.
Strategic mindset, adaptability in decision-making, inspirational leadership, and a strong focus on talent development.
