Job Description SummaryJob SummaryLead the scouting, evaluation, and incubation of digital and AI solutions across Gas Power Global Supply Chain. This role operates at the intersection of frontline operational reality and emerging technology: spending time on the floor identifying real gaps, evaluating what the market offers, building and proving solutions that do not yet exist, and shaping where the organization's digital ecosystem needs to go. Partners with senior functional leaders, Digital Technology, and Global Process Digital Authorities to define technology priorities, govern pilots, and ensure proven solutions scale globally. A high-visibility role that contributes directly to the long-term digital and AI roadmap for Gas Power Supply Chain.Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesTechnology Scouting, Evaluation and RoadmapLead structured scouting and evaluation across the full spectrum of supply chain digital solutions, including both building custom AI tools and evaluating third party solutions. Assess what the market offers, engage vendors and technology partners, and make clear pursue or no-go recommendations.Develop and manage the Gas Power Supply Chain AI roadmap, ensuring individual team projects support a cohesive growth plan and contribute to a digital ecosystem that compounds over time rather than accumulates point solutions.Partner with functional leaders, corporate AI teams, and Digital Technology to develop and drive the business AI strategy for Gas Power Supply Chain. Align on priorities, sequencing, and resource allocation across the broader AI ecosystem.Own business-side security governance and access management for Gas Power Supply Chain AI applications, working in close partnership with Digital Technology and Cybersecurity teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise governance requirements before deployment.Define and maintain the evaluation framework for candidate solutions: workflow fit, data readiness, integration requirements, adoption feasibility, and scalability across sites.Stay current with emerging AI tools, platforms, and supply chain technology trends. Bring external perspective to internal problems and challenge the organization to consider what is now possible.Solution Building, Incubation and Pilot GovernanceBuild and incubate AI agents, automated workflows, and digital tools, contributing directly to prototyping and proof of concept work. Design solutions with scalability in mind from the start, building in a way that can be standardized and deployed across sites.Evaluate and deploy third party AI solutions that address validated frontline problems.Own pilot design, governance, and go/no-go decisions: structure pilots with real users, pre-agreed success metrics, and a defined timeline. Make and defend scale or no-go decisions at completion.Work directly alongside frontline users during solution development. Co-design with the people who will use the solution, not just for them.Partner with Digital Technology to formalize proven solutions, ensuring they are supported, maintained, and available for deployment across all sites.Contribute to and evolve the team's library of reusable components, prompt templates, and workflow patterns that the broader NTI team can build on.Collaboration, Influence and Capability BuildingPartner with Global Process Digital Authorities on problem identification, functional requirements, and standards alignment throughout solution development. Partner with the Master Data Governance team to confirm data requirements and field mapping before any solution is tested with frontline users.Influence GPDA process standards and Digital Technology architecture direction by contributing the technology lens: what is now possible, what is emerging, and what the ecosystem needs to support next.Build organizational capability around emerging digital and AI technologies. Help functional leaders, process owners, and frontline teams understand what these tools can do and how to engage with them productively.Prepare clean handoff packages when solutions are ready to scale: functional documentation, training materials, data requirements, and pilot outcomes.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.5+ years in supply chain operations, manufacturing, quality engineering, or materials management in an industrial environment.Demonstrated track record of evaluating and piloting digital or AI solutions in an operations or supply chain context, including making and defending go and no-go decisions.Hands-on experience building or prototyping AI tools or digital workflows, including no-code and low-code platforms.Strong credibility with frontline operations teams and senior functional leaders. Comfortable operating in both environments.Comfortable at the business-DT boundary: leads the business case and requirements definition without deferring to DT on what the problem is or what good looks like.Desired C
